Puppies

This post is for the people who may be trying to reach me regarding puppy availability. We do not have a litter planned in 2021. The next Ebbtide litter could possibly be Summer 2022. You can write me at ann.ebbtideATgmail.com if you have questions. You'll need to replace AT with @ (prevents spamming here) in the email address. These plans are tentative and could, realistically, mean puppies off to their new homes in late Summer or Fall 2022.  V.v. is now 9 years old and spayed, and we are hoping her daughter Maggie (red tri co-owned with my son Emmett) will pass all her genetic health tests and other breeding tests before she is bred.

Fun At The Santa Rosa AKC Cluster Shows

Above: Judi and Beau in the Open Blue class on Friday

Five siblings from the "Wish" Litter (HOF CH Tri-Ivory Make A Big Wish x Ch Ebbtide Fern) congregated at last weekend's 4 days of AKC shows in Santa Rosa. Since this is our local show (hosted by Mensona KC and Lake County KC), we HAD to attend. I knew 3 of the group had been seriously out of coat this summer, so I informed the owners it was their call on how many days to enter: But that we should at least go one or two days to get them back in the swing of things...do a little training, support our local show, have an excuse to bathe and groom our dogs, kill some time, eat cake, etc.
In other words: No big expectations to win much. And, our motto, as always: Have a good time!
So here's what happened: (hmm, short version or long version??) I showed all classes, except those listed otherwise. And, yes, I can still run today...sorta

THURSDAY: Judge Daniel Fleitas - with Ann handling both dogs:

And there is a reason I cropped my head off this pic.

Here's To An Old Dog, Eh?

Congratulations are in order for a special senior dog-citizen:

CANADIAN CH SILVERWOOD'S VICTORY LANE, "Tory", age 12 (13 in October!), wins BIG in her home country, Canada! Shown above with owner-handler Ann McPhee of Salt Springs Island, BC, winning Best Veteran In Sweepstakes! AND she won the only Award of Merit! How cool is that?!?! Tory is bred and co-owned by Marge Stovall, Silverwoods Aussies, WA. Thanks to CKC judge Michael Hill for this sterling win.

Here's Tory loving every minute back in the ring:

You rock, Tory!

Tory is a daughter of our late, CH EBBTIDE I'LL REMAIN CD, "Remy", seen below winning an AWARD OF MERIT at the USASA NATIONAL SPECIALTY in Vallejo, CA in April 1995:

Remy still holds a very dear place in our hearts. This kind, charismatic, honest, elegant, biddable, sound, extremely handsome dog was thoroughly enjoyed and loved by all who knew him in his lifetime: March 1991-October 2005. Remy came by his attributes honestly: His mother was the incredibly talented, vivacious, multiple Premier CH Nationals bitch, High In Trial Obedience winner CH EBBTIDE A BEE IN YOUR BONNET CD, "Gatsbee". His sire, and Remy was from just his second litter, the legendary HOF CH MY MAIN MAN OF HEATHERHILL.

Where does the time go?
